Having born in Ankara in the year 1990, Alper KAYA settled in Istanbul when he had right to study Geology Engineering at Istanbul University in 2008 after he completed his primary school and high school education in Zonguldak.
He wrote his first story at the age of seven and his first success in this field is championship in a “Story Completing Competition” in a junior newspaper in November of the year 2000. Having published stories in various sites and magazines, Alper KAYA has 60 or more short stories.

His first novel called 08.00 was published by Postiga Publishing house in 2011.

In the year 2006, while he was going on writing football articles(that he started to write in a local newspaper) in various blog sites, his article called “Sadece Bir Deli” in the newspaper BirGün was granted an award: “praise-worthy sport column” in the year 2010 by Turkey Journalists Community. He was the youngest journalist who won that award. During the internet censor (for a month), he prepared a column named “Bloguma Dokunma” in the same newspaper. They break up for political reasons. He still writes about football in Sporx.
